Dual Camera Teleprompter Privacy Policy

Updated: October 1, 2026

Dual Camera Teleprompter is a script-reading and recording tool that runs locally on your iPhone. It requires no account or sign-in and does not connect to developer servers. It does not collect or upload scripts, videos, audio, device identifiers or usage statistics, and contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

Local Data

Your scripts, recordings and settings are stored on your device. You can delete scripts and recordings in the app. Deleting the app removes the data in its container. Copies you save to Photos or export through system sharing must be managed separately at those destinations.

System Permissions

The camera is used for previews and recordings you start. The microphone is used when you choose to record sound. Add-only Photos permission is used to save completed videos. You can change permissions in iOS Settings. Denying Photos access does not remove videos already saved in the app.

File Import and Sharing

You can choose TXT or Markdown scripts using Files, or export videos using the iOS share sheet. The app does not upload this content on its own. If you choose a file location or sharing destination provided by another app or service, further processing depends on your choices and that service’s policy.
